I want to thank Doug Sink, Program Manager at the Lory Student Center Art Galleries / Curfman Gallery at Colorado State University in Fort Collins and fellow artist Davana Robedee for our two-person exhibition, “The Divergence of Light: Davana Robedee and Shelby Shadwell” in the fall of 2016. I also want to thank Marius Lehene, Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at CSU for letting me share some insights with his advanced drawing students during my visit there.
I was pleased to conduct a public drawing demonstration for all students in something of a collaboration between Davana and me, describing one of her pieces from observation from outside the gallery, and I donated the piece to the gallery.
